That’s about right, although I’d probably say Omega is the “BMW”.

I say:

AP=Lamborghini. Flashy, kinda gaudy, big with influencers, but damn good products. And the Muira and original Countach, like the RO, was a revelation and achingly beautiful.
RM=Ferrari. Cutting edge tech, big in racing
Rexhep=Rimac. Small, young owner, innovative
MB&F=Koenigsegg. Crazy, how the hell does it work?!?
FP Journe=Bugatti
VC=Bentley. Classic, maybe a bit under appreciated, can be sporty when it wants to be

I'd say AP is Porsche, ALS is Ferrari, Omega is BMW, and Seiko is Lexus. But the rest I can agree with.

Except that Bentley doesn’t hold value very well.

Nothing against and not direct to the OP, s/he didn’t make it.

But these lists are bs put together by insecure pretentious labelmaker definitive authority wannabes and it does nothing to expand peoples curiosity about horology beyond which club they want to pretend to belong to.

I'm in five of those clubs and ride my 20yo Kona bike, I'm in my own club, exclusive.

I have a hublot. It was a gift. But I gotta say, it’s a nice watch. I had wanted one for a long time. never pulled the trigger. But I like it. I’m glad I have it. Just my opinion, but they are also pretty innovative.

If someone wanted to gift me one, I'd certainly wear it. I have looked at a few of them myself. The brand image is just something I have a hard time getting over, I can't help but think I'd come off as flashy and arrogant wearing one regularly.

The depreciation is definitely on point with BMW though lol
