Thoughts?

Similar to the luxury watch market. Thoughts on this video? Isn't a good look for Porsche.

Nothing new here. Many car companies have limited the production of their exotic models for decades and as a result the dealers have required either a history of prior purchases or an ADM (additional dealer markup) or both.

It is not just companies like Porsche or Lamborghini. Ford had done it with their Ford GT models and even purchasers of the most recent Corvette C8 found themselves paying ADMs. Capitalism. If you don't like it, buy something else.

indeed, this is very common.

too common for my liking, but it is a fact of life.

This is nothing new and him crying about 100K over for an RS is pretty funny as many are paying closer to 150k over. I think its calming some but 100K over is a pretty good deal on that car these days. He would still be able to sell it for over what he paid at that total price. Ferrari is FAR worse.
