Swedish 1655 Evaluation
Hello Folks
My hunt for a 1655 turned up this dude in Sweden. Seems to be correct MK3 dial and a MKII bezel? https://auctionet.com/en/3319203-rol...4-hour-display It has been listed a number of times and failed to sell. What are your thoughts? Fairly worn out and tired with a washed lume look from these rather over exposed photos. Thin right side lugs and a later bracelet. Serviced in 2016 apparently (not sure where) and some spare parts (plexi, crown and bracelet links) Thanks for lending your eyes and thoughts to it. |

There's a reason it hasn't sold, and you've answered your own question: Worn out, tired, and badly polished. Big pass.

I like an honest original scruffer and an albino to boot...BUT, this is now asymmetric (south east lug had 25% removed) the rest are nice/fine btw and the dial hands are a bit dial-rot / mould-ridden, and faded as a result.
Service plexi makes it look worse ! The missing bezel paint I could fix in a jiffy but it's not a an attractive SM'Q to my eyes if I'm brutally frank.
