Yeah she and Portia are pretty prodigious house flippers. They love to buy, redecorate/remodel and sell them at big profits. Incredibly beautiful homes, and they obviously have great taste.

They've been in Architectural Digest a number of times.

Good for her, I remember watching her comedy routines from way back, sort of a Seinfeld observational humor, which was very well done. A sort of gentle, self deprecating type of humor which was always very smart.

Glad she's having so much success and would love to see her on Hodinkee. I'm sure she's been asked before.

She is playing an expensive risky game at current market prices betting the mania will continue and she will reap rewards. At least she can easily afford to do it.

She strikes every as being pretty savvy. I bet she paid far less than that article implies. One tweet/insta/mention from her is worth massive $ to the shop owner.

Can’t fault her for it, unfortunately for me though, it feeds the scarcity monster.

Not to mention REAL. She stood up to loonies who gave her crap about hanging out with Bush instead of pandering to them.

I don't think he's coming back to discuss this with us, it was just a random uninformed drive-by swipe at someone with more money than him. It made him feel better for a while maybe so at least some good came of it.

Amazing watch ...

But how come the bracelet seems too narrow? Big space between its border and the lugs, no?

Probably spent half the day scouring the entire page looking for something to let everybody know about something he doesn't care for.

She makes over $50 mil from her talk show, now a game show host and who knows about endorsement money. It's her money and glad she is spending it to stimulate the economy!

Cool for you to post up Jasper!

That bit you copied a pasted does not desrcibe your entire picture nor paint you well. Would like to hear how your watch journey began and where it is now?

There's not many at her level who are more philanthropic... I know this is an older thread but I think Ellen is fantastic and she does so much for so many people so I had to comment...

Apparently horrible to her staff, live in fear of her. Heard a few celebs and former writers also say this.

I’d love to see her on a show like Hondinkee.

I’m curious how a woman gets into watches.

It’s mostly dudes into watches.

Are women attracted to watches for the same reasons a men?
