16750 questions

Hi All,
An 81' 16750 popped up in the classifieds and wondered if I could get some thoughts on it?

I posted a week or two ago about beginning to keep an eye out for a piece from 1981(birth year) but this would be my first vintage purchase. I haven't inquired about it but curious as to what is important to know aside from the serial in order to approximately date it?

Any input would be educational and appreciated!

When pricing a piece take the price of a fine, correct example (~$15+k in this case) and subtract for damage and replacement parts if needed. Also, there's lotsa great info in resources page here...

Not smart enough to help with the watch, but I can tell you Tim is great to work with. Made a purchase from him a few weeks back and couldn’t be happier with it.
