Not really A Speedy fan outside of the Snoopy models; I like this one.
The price is pretty high; will have to sleep on it and see. That price and it’s not limited makes it hard(er) to swallow. Might wait like some of the others here and see if it goes on sale by next summer or so, after all the dust has settled. I still think it will be hard to obtain by the end of this year (i.e. Christmas), so folks may still have to deal with grey and flippers if they want it ASAP. |

I’m thinking most that complain about price now or non limited edition will regret later if they truly like the watch. I for one don’t think many will be made. Having a number on it don’t matter. All that matters is if you want it and it’s on your wrist or not

Me too. Can’t wait. I have other brands like Rolex, AP, Patek, and I’m more excited about this Speedy that anything else out there now.... Omega did great with this piece; down to the dot over 90 bezel

Added: Just showed wife the new Snoopy, and she insisted I get the 50th Buzz the moment she saw it.... she's not a fan of ol' Snoopy either. Enjoy gents, it is a fun piece. PS: For 60th I vote for a proper 'marble' of the earth that rotates in sync to your time zone's daylight hours. That would be cool!

Yeah. I’m liking that right bracelet combo. Not more than the strap. Would just depend on the occasion.

The smart thing to do was for Omega to offer it with both the canvas and a SS bracelet, one similar to the what the Seamaster 300M Diver has (which is the micro-adjustable clasp). Put it all in a presentation box with a changing tool.
Then they would have a collectable piece where they wouldn't be able to keep up with orders. |

Did the same thing on my Moonphase. And because they did that, they squeezed another $850 out of me for the bracelet. |

100% agree, and they should have included the bracelet (to the right) too as they did with the 50th Buzz. It's an INCREDIBLY comfortable bracelet too.

I like both of these.
To my eye, the two different bracelets give this watch two very different ‘looks’. The bracelet on the left makes the watch look modern and the one on the right looks a bit retro. I don’t know which I like the most. |

Also a matter of class which you sadly lack.

Pointing out a “goliardic” comment, that I censored myself, I think it’s a lack of common sense. But I guess we are all lacking something and learning something.
Will be more careful in the future, making sure that nobody gets offended by reading an ugly censored convivial exclamation. Peace man! |

This thing is not going to go up like the last one and it might not even retain it's MSRP but it's not going to be on sell at 35% off for 6K. Someone name any Omega that sales at a 35-40% discount. My guess is that it will settle at a smidge over retail in the 11-12K neighborhood.

Has anyone received any kind of discount on the Snoopy payment so far?
