To buy new, how else indeed?
It is for me a difference between 'want' and 'like', I am now at an age where I can just make do with my 1980 GMT, last serviced by Rolex 2003.
I did start out originally taking my watch in for service every 4 years, but that was when the cost of servicing was ex works (not full retailer price, even when taking the watch directly to the Rolex factory). I would like a new one, but will not pay over msrp.
