5513 correct?

What do you think of this meters first?
Is this a correct one?

If correct means you have 100$ insert instead of the original one......no it’s not all correct

1967 should be a Long 5 insert. Possible relume??

I dont get it. What's wrong with the insert besides not being period correct?

I believe the "code" they are speaking in indicates the insert is a service insert and someone has artificially aged the bezel insert - hence, the $100 value for the insert.

The market today is not for pre-owned, so many fake stuff....unless you buy from somebody you know.

Not sure I fully agree. If a buyer does homework and also what this OP did by posting a watch for knowledgeable hobbyists to critique, vintage Rolexes with issues can be weeded out. There are also well-known dealers with spotless reputations who eliminate a lot (but not all) of the potential problems when buying.

It ain't easy, but the journey is part of the fun. I'd never let the bad guys ruin the hobby.
