Go for the Smurf. As far as what to part with: I’d begin with the Bluesy, one of the GMTs (probably Batman), the Exp II, one Milgauss, and one OP. Best wishes

I would dump the red OP, the blue milgaus, and the bluesey. Maybe the YM if you’re still short and don’t want to dump the Omega or snowflake.

Batman makes most sense if smurf comes in. But it’s wedding watch. Wife has a hard no there lol.

I’ve been thinking through this and didn’t realize how much the trade would torpedo through my collection. I don’t really see a path right now unfortunately. Thanks again all for inputs!!

If it were me I’d dump the Bluesy, DJ, YM, and the Tudor

That would probably get you into the mid to high 30’s then add the cash difference and call it a wrap

I’ve looked at your collection pic and that’s exactly the direction I’d go.

Gotta keep the Subs, GMTs, Explorers, Etc

Whatever you do keep the SDK. There’s less then 20 or so in complete sets on Chrono24 and just a handful in the classifieds here on TRF. Out of your entire collection that one will be the hardest to replace IMO

The only other one I left out from my earlier post is coral OP. With the other 4 I stated plus this one you’re gonna be in the positive

So full PM and some cash to boot. Or just stick with the earlier 4 and add a small amount of cash and boom you’re there.

I’m actually also thinking of trimming down my heard down to half with a another PM or 2. Even the Daytona’s can go. Yes blasphemy around here but they wear light and small which isn’t my thing atm. Maybe a full PM Daytona. No oysterflex.

I’ve just got so many that I don’t wear from my sig line and at that stage what’s the point. So I’m thinking a few SS models and a few PM models for like 6-7 total and call it a wrap. Just gotta see what call I get next from my A D.

Thanks!!! Your pathway makes a ton of sense from a value/future value standpoint, also in trading out some watches with parts PM for the full PM. Interesting. We seem to be thinking similarly around collection journeys. Good luck! Let me know how you go.

All advice here was fantastic but this one was most in line with my preferences/wearing time. Helped me see things much more clearly. THANK YOU! And stay tuned for incoming...
