Finally . . .

After starting planning in 2019, being cancelled in 2020; my brother and I were finally able to take our planned motorcycle trip throughout the UK, with the exception of No. Ireland in September. Been home less than a week as I type.

The trip was fabulous and we had a grand time. The majority of the 2300 miles was traveled in Scotland. Passage through the Lake District in England was just as beautiful.

There was an ice cream truck next to this scenic turn out somewhere in Wales.

Welcome to Scotland

Somewhere in the gloom, you can make out the silhouette of Urquhart Castle.

I don't think I'll ever tire of the Highlands.

I think taking a photo of this sign when there is enshrined in Scottish Law.

I thought the scenery on the Isle of Skye was also spectacular.

Not all fun and games. Yes, Virginia, it does rain. Hard sometimes.

Great pictures and glad you had a good trip. I lived in Scotland 20 years ago and was a regular diver there. I never tired of the scenery but the weather was another thing altogether. Thanks for posting, it brought back many memories

What a great trip. I have always wanted to go to Scotland, to do it on a bike would be even better. Congrats.
