I guess you really can't blame Rolex at all for wanting a little bigger piece of the "pie". Especially when they see how much resellers are making on a product that THEY design and create! I'm more than happy to pay the new MSRP if I can actually get something that I want.

I don't know anything about a price increase, but the wait list increase is unbearable.

Even a 20% increase wouldn’t change anything or even be noticed.

Posted the German price list 2022 in the sticky thread on top….

Some watches didn’t change, most got around 3% but some got a juicy increase like:

Submariner 124060: 7.550€ now 8.350€ (+10,5%)
Submariner Date 126610LN: 8.550€ now 9.400€ (+9,9%)
GMT-Master II 126710 (BLNR Batman/BLRO Pepsi): 9.000€ now 10.000€ (+11,1% - Oyster 200€ less)
Daytona 116500LNB: 12.250€ now 13.550€ (+10,6%)

Only 100€ for OP (now 5700€) makes it a bargain.

OP might be the best overall buy.
Any word on Explorer 36 price increase? That could also be a good value buy.

I believe it would only change grey market prices. We would need to get into absurd territory before things really change IMO. I’m talking $30,000 MSRP on a stainless sub. That will halt things immediately. We have to reach prices that people are just not willing to pay, and we are not there yet.

If people are paying 40-50k for Tiffany blue OP, they'll gladly pay 30k for a submariner.

Yes Matt, but it’s unclear, since other threads are claiming just 3.4%. It doesn’t make any sense it be so low an increase, since inflation in US, Europe and Canada is off the charts, not to mention Asia and South AM where they’re in high double digits as the year closes out.

Something is amiss if its only 3.4%

You might be right . What i find crazy is probably someone else’s slightly over priced.

Is there any proof that someone has actually bought one for that price? I see pretty much the same watches for sales on chrono24.
