There is a number in the bracelet of my Rolex Oyster Perpetual.
Is in the clasp next to the "steelinox" word.
It is just 3 digits: 989

Does this number mean something?

Previously these were a way to date code the bracelet/clasp when Rolex used a letter followed by a number. For many years now, these codes are random and the only significance is for Rolex and their internal inventory system.
