Collection question
Hope everyone is having a great start to 2022. Considering consolidating/selling one of my 4 pieces. Would love to hear recommendations on which to let go/swap for. Torn between bottom 2 but still on edge and undecided (top 2 not considering)
Collectors recommendations welcome! |

I would let the Rollie go. Eventually, Go for a great Indie for your next one.

Your collection is pretty damn awesome as it is. But to answer your question, it will depend on how much you wear each of them and what replacement you may have in mind. But I can think of a few options.
Option 1: Keep the steel RO, Nautilus, and Daytona giving you three iconic watches from the modern "Trinity." Option 2: Keep the ROs and Nautilus giving two steel icons and a gold RO for special occasions. Maybe add a VC for the traditional "Trinity." Option 3: If you could bear to part with it and have something high end in mind, sell the steel RO towards the new target. That gives you one of each brand assuming you're not after another Rolex, AP or Patek. This would be the toughest for me to do, but it is an option to take advantage of the prices of the steels ROs. |

why dump? I'm gonna say let the daytona go, if not the Patek. Hold on to AP RO.

Massive RO fan but given that you have 2 ROs and one of them is the jumbo, i would let the gold one go if you have to. Daytona is a solid daily watch and the jumbo and 5712 are the weekend watches. I would use the gold RO funds to get a nice dress watch or a crazy indie.

The PM RO is more special and is a nice colour to your SS collection. I will dump the Daytona.
Great collection by the way. |

i agree with some of the previous suggestions; sell the gold AP, and acquire a Platinum piece (Journe, Vacheron)

I would keep top 2 and sell bottom 2 to fund an overseas perpetual ultrathin or steel tourbillon.

I'm not a fan of that model gold Oak so I would move that one.
I'm not a big Daytona fan but I would wear this one daily along with the steel Oak and 5712. |

Top two are keepers for sure. I’d keep the Daytona too as we all need at least 1 Rolex and panda Daytona is timeless. It would have to be the gold Royal oak I dump.
Use the funds for a HEAVY HITTER Gold. If your going to have one gold in collection come out strong like an open worked Royal oak, or a 5990R |

No question.
Keep the top two and the Daytona. Daytona is a great daily for you, which you can swim in and the top two are just *chefs kiss* Not sure what you are looking for as a next piece. You seem to like bracelets, but maybe something on leather. With the funds from the Gold RO maybe a complicated Patek or ALS 1815 Chrono or something? Or save some cash and get a VC Cornes de Vache in steel? Or perhaps a GMT to round out your collection? 5164 or 5524?

Since you're only considering selling one and haven't given a compelling reason for doing do, I would stop considering and just enjoy your four watches.

I would keep all 4, or I would sell the 2 APs and get a gold 202.

Not sure about your lifestyle but if that is your total collection then IMO you are missing a dress Patek...either Calatrava or Annual Calendar. Certainly, you could make a strong case for a dress ALS or JLC instead of Patek. Since you have 2 RO I’d get rid of the PM RO for a PM dress Patek. To me that would be a versatile and well balanced collection!
