The Speedy is a watch I've owned and loved, however, the lack of WR is a problem for me since this will also be my vacation watch.
A couple more models that have joined the list of ones to try... - Grand Seiko SBGA415 (for some reason I like the dial more than the White Birch, at least in photos) - JLC Polaris Automatic 3-hander in Black (to me this feels like a more understated and larger Explorer I - the ultimate gentleman's sports watch. +1 because it's less recognizable but -1 since it's possible it wont age as well as the Exp 1) - Zenith Chronomaster Sport Also curious to see if any interesting new models come out of W&W... |

I like your Santos idea.
This was my first nice watch -- preowned, high school graduation gift in the 1980s, and tiny (though my wrist is 6" -- you can see the L2L distance actually works). But you wouldn't be getting a two-tone since this isn't the 1980s anymore. |
