A strap change can make all the difference

Now that I've got something else as a daily on rubber, I figured I'd move back to the leather strap on the Black Bay.

I sometimes forget how nice this watch can be; it has been my daily for the last 5 years on a RubberB, so you can say that I've gotten used to it the point of boredom. Well, a leather strap can fix that!

Love this dial and while it is a thick watch, it will always be a special, OG Black Bay - at least to me.

Thanks for your post.

I have a Tudor Black Bay Burgundy and I am working my way up to a RubberB and leather strap in time.

I know the RubberB seems pricey but it has been one of my favorite straps of all time, regardless of watch. Truly worth the price for what you're getting, in my opinion.

Thanks again!!

Yes, I have seen many endorse and recommend the RubberB. I am not put off by the price, it is that some don't seem to enjoy it after they actually try it and I don't have the tools and abilities to change the straps on my own and I'm not sure how to resolve that by either relying on a business and paying them to do the changes or attempting to learn myself.

Tudors look so well and so different on different strap styles.
The leather and NATO are what best match Tudor in my opinion. Your watch looks stunning on that leather strap.
I just couldn’t leave the store without buying the Tudor GMT the first time I saw it on its Siena leather strap.
Pure class.

The BB ETA Black in particular looks phenomenal on a leather strap because of the warm gold accents. Looks great Jp!

Don't disagree - but that's what my other watches are for.

I've never used my bracelet for this one; it sits unused and still wrapped, 6 years later.

I love leather straps, Jesse. I like bracelets too, but I find the color contrast with a tan strap is really attractive and so comfortable.

Not one of my crowns but this 2254 SeaMaster Pro has been a fantastic and versatile daily beater.

I've also swapped the bracelet for a light brown leather strap on my Black Bay 41. I think it goes really well with the dial.

Rubber B goes really well with the whole stylistics of the YM2. Not sure if it’s just me, but the rubber b also seems to attract a lot less dust.

Looks great. I wear most of my Tudor watches on leather or the NATO's. Nothing wrong with the bracelets and I have left a few on bracelet but the vintage vibe is strong and the straps help.

I prefer the bracelets personally. After market straps make watches look cheap.

I like straps when it's beach time during the summer. For the most part the straps are temporary changes which return to the OEM bracelet with time. It's nice to make changes but it kind of like refreshing an outfit with a new hat; at some point it becomes apparent that it's the same watch.
