Request for Chip...

Hey Mr. Masterphotoshopper...

Given that you can make non-TT Rolex look so, um, well real, any chance you could do up a black dial ExplorerII with a polished bezel and polished centre links? I've always thought that would dress it up nicely, but I don't have the skills.

Cheers

So basically you want a Breitling SuperOcean like Explorer II.
Polished center links, polished bezel.
Give me a few days... I am very very busy at work, but I will see what I can cook up.
I have never tried to polish metal in Photoshop.
Should be interesting.

I will work on the bezel.

I did those two in about five minutes last night.
I know that it's not exactly what you are looking for. From a thechnical point of view, I know how to make it look polished.
The problem is that will all that writing on the dial, I would have to manually cut out all the numbers, pixel by pixel, create a new layer, apply a chrome filter on the bezel, then on a new layer re-apply all the arabic hour markers by hand back to their original position.

It would take me at least 10 minutes per hour marker to extract it, so it would take a few hrs over all.

See... Photoshop is not hard to use, but it is very time consuming.

If you give me a while, I can try to deliver you a nice polished Explorer.

If you knew what I was looking at (cuz the pic is edited) you'd know I'm feeling anything but sad in that pic (assuming that is me in the pic, right ).

Assuming it were you, my guess would be that there's a beautiful blonde lying at your feet and you're about to do something that's just about going to ruin your beautiful relationship with Paula!!!! LOL! LOL!!

Actually, you're half right. There is a beautiful blonde involved, but she is my daughter, and I edited her out of the pic.
