1570 movement in a 1675?

I'm looking at a very early 1675...there is a problem I think.

1) It's serial number is dated to 1966
2) It's got a 1570 caliber movement.

1570's were not used in GMT's, but I see references to 1575 sometimes having 1570 stamped on the bridge.
But this one says 26 Jewels, too (not the 25 in a 1575).

Could this be legit?

(edited to correct date code)

All of the later GMT 1675 movements were stamped 1570 - but are referred to as caliber 1575 which is a slightly modified 1570 movement which is modified to accept the parts for the 24-hour hand.

Prior to around 1965, the movement for the GMT 1675 was the 1560 caliber, which were stamped as such on the movement.
