Daytona (116500ln) on rubber b with metal end links

Hi,

I’m sure someone has had this combo as the oyster flex is impossible to buy from Rolex. I was thinking the Smarty Jones end links but I am unsure which rubber b (their homepage is a little bit of a mess) that will fit those end links, any guidance would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Every country is different regarding Oysterflex purchase.

In UK, we have no problem buying from AD.

Rubber-B will not require the end links as the strap goes all the way up to the case is is curved to follow.

Here is a pic of the rubber B on my sub, you can see the difference between the oysterflex with Smarty.

Here is mine on Smarty and Oysterflex.

I thought the Oysterflex models could not accomodate steel bracelets.

So, this should also be true the other way round, and you shouldn't be able to put an oysterflex on the steel model ?

Oysterflex gold Daytonas have integrated endlinks that preclude putting a bracelet on. The Oysterflex bracelet pieces will fit on any watch with 20mm lug width. The Smarty endlinks which are available for multiple Rolex SS models provide a more finished look.

Talked with my AD, they were OK with selling an oysterflex to me, problem solved! Thanks for the input and pics, the Daytona on oysterflex keeps growing on me so a definite purchase after quarantine
