^^^Thats almost the first tell and a direct avoidance or disconnect of the watch in question. That way it wasn’t their fault if anyone calls them out in wearing a bogus Rolex. People that wear knockoffs generally have the same sheepish attitude if the topic comes up.

I have a very good friend that owns several car dealerships. He buys roughly 20 Rolexes a year and gives them to his sales team.
