16710 bezel fade continuously washing?

I like to wash my washed with an extra soft tooth brush and mild soap. I have no issues washing the modern day ceramic bezel but should I worry about accelerating fade on the aluminum? I have the coke and black variants. Thanks in advance!

Fading comes from UV light. You should be fine.

If you washed it in sea water in somewhere like Brazil then it would accelerate the fading. You'll be fine with your tap

In addition to UV, I don't think chlorine in swimming pools helped mine.

Well red in most all things when exposed to a lot of UV light will fade. But today just normal washing doubt if it would effect it.But many of the vintage inserts for sale are artificialy aged why because many are willing to pay extra for aged inserts.
