Considering last year had alot of interesting releases and this year almost none, Rolex could have just had an extra year of production on this and then released this year, which needed it, and there would also be alot more availability.

Lol. Add 50% for titanium. But I guess 50% of never is still never. Hahah

Thanks! I was afraid it would be too big for me. But it wears surprisingly good. My wrist size is between 16 and 16.5 cm.

Saw this one today at the AD it was owned by the watchmaker. It was part of his personal collection. I’m not a fan of the size, but the fit and finish is unbelievably great.

I tried on one, wow its light as hell. My main AD told me that they only received 2 so far and they’re pretty big AD.

Rolex is all about the wight and feel, their 904 steel has a special shine and finish, this Ti YM is not doing it for me

It’s a really cool watch. Tried one on and played with it a bit at the AD a couple of months back. Thought it was already cool, but had some reservations. After tying it is a really great watch, any reservations I had were squashed.

Is the finish that good? From vids I've seen it is very coarse, reminded me of some Ali watches.

The finish is Rolex good Neil. I tried one on during the holidays in Lucerne. Not my cup of tea … not that they’d have sold it to me anyway

This is THE watch for anyone that says they want a “Rolex Tool Watch”.

My friend has one. I found it too large at 42mm and didn't like the aesthetics. I much prefer the Pelagos 39

I was a fan upon announcement but as a year has passed and only a few have made it out, I am less impressed. I have had time to take the passion out of my response and just go with the watch itself. At secondary prices my Pelagos watches will suffice.

Yes the finish and more importantly the fit of it is Rolex perfect. The size is a little too big for me. My hope is they make a submariner with the material.

Tried on the watch

I tried on this watch at the Rolex owned boutique (only one on earth) in Geneva. They were all very nice and excited for me to try it on. I felt it was too light and slightly too big for my taste, I much prefer my submariner. However, I did like to monochrome/matte finish, and agree it would be really cool looking in a sub (although still to light for me).

2 for sale at Grey Dealers in the UK right now. They’re definitely coming though.

I'm very cool with Rolex's normal finishing, but this one seemed different as I said, hope to see one soon. I only recently seriously tried on the 40 and 42 YM OFs and really liked them, far more than I thought I would, so I am interested in these YMs, altho the supply games of the Ti are just not for me too.

Ti Yachtmaster

I have been waiting on one for a while. I am not sure if I will end up with one. That's OK if I don't get one I will spend my money on Scuba equipment or something like that.

$40k for a non precious metal titanium watch that retails for $14k is absurd.

I would disgaree. If it is truely limited due to that fact that Ti models cannot be made via the normal high volume process used for other models then this may in fact be quite a rare model. Especially if it’s discontinued.

At the end of the day for most luxury goods the value of the item in primarily a function is the perceived rarity relative to the supply / demand dynamic.

If this is only going to be made for a few years then one could argue that the secondary market price is justified.

My local AD just outside London has had an exhibition piece in the window for around a month now. They told me they are submitting names to the manager to release it for purchase soon
