My quirky new Lange

Found a Lange 1 up for sale with a very quirky little nugget!
If you notice the 6 marker (VI) is actually flipped and the wrong way round! Usually they’re pointing downwards.
I find it very quirky and cool that the very German, perfect company would have let this leave the factory! I like to think it’s a reminder that they’re made by hand, and the watchmaker who made this had probably been on a bender at Oktoberfest that week!!! Anyway- that’s my piece unique now

That's gorgeous. Is it an enamel dial?

That is super interesting. I have the same model...but the VI is flipped, unlike yours. Odd...

Simply Sublime!

The "1" is my grail. Hopefully obtainable someday pre owned. Make sure you post this pic in the Lange thread, it's too good to get lost in the day or two it will sink out of the first page.

Congrats!! Super nice and cool it has an “error” dial; a real one of one.

Just remember to tell them not to touch the dial when you service it or get it done at an independent lol.

It's definitely neat, but honestly, your orientation always made more sense to me.

Love that one. Been on my short list for some time. Purity in design. Congrats.
