"Point Break" the movie

Opening scene the ex presidents are en route to rob the bank, one of the guys does a quick watch check. Looks like a Breitling to me. Anyone care to shed some light that might know for sure! Thanks in advance, Jon

Here you go; a Breiling New Pluton. The version in the movie looks to have a dark colored bezel (black, navy blue?) and is on a strap of sorts.

This site clued me in.

I knew someone on here could help me, thanks Chris!! Us watch freaks need to stick together!! I have probably watched that movie a least a dozen times and just noticed the watch the other night. My wife thinks that I am stupid of course!

That watch, without the digi screen and with a mechanical movement would be high on my list of watches to buy! I love that dial!

I watched "Point Break" dozens of times (probably a bakers dozen at that)! Watching for watches is one of my favorite things to do. Around town, at the movies, in print or wherever. Whats hard is taking a glance (half a second at most) and naming the correct make and model...and if its a fake or not! You are in good company here!
