First Rolex - SeaDweller DeepSea!

Hi All

Well it's been a long time coming, after looking at a ceramic GMT and pondering waiting for a ceramic stainless sub I bumped into the SDDS at my authorised dealer. They had been keeping it for a customer who eventually decided to not go ahead, I was lucky with the timing!

As soon as I tried it on I decided there and then to take it :) I'm really pleased so far, I've had an Omega Planet Ocean Chrono in the past so the size is no problem for me. I have to say that this watch feels better designed and put together than my Omega which was also a great watch.

I wish the bracelet were a little bit wider, more from an aesthetic perspective than anything else as to wear it's more comfortable than the PO and while I love the smooth ratchet of the bezel I wish it were perhaps a little more difficult to move as so far every time I've looked at the watch the bezel has spun round a little more, hmmm!

Anyway just though I'd share my good news and a couple of pics, great forum BTW, it's really helped me research my Rolex :)

Bye

James
