Change gasket after open the case of sub, necessary?
Hello, i´m wondering if it´s always necessary to change the gasket after opening a Submariner case even if it was replaced just 6 month ago, what could happen if you close the case using the same gasket? Thanks!

Modern gasket materials do not deform as readily as those in past generations.. I would be very surprised if a modern gasket or modern nitrile rubber O ring couldn't be used several times before it was unuseable..
However, it could easily be Rolex policy, and that for Rolex contracted watchmakers - gaskets to be changed each time the watch is opened... ....... Hey, they're cheap enough to change them every time... under a couple of bucks each for top quality ones, down to 20 bucks for a hundred in bulk..
