Just got on to this thread. Most fun for a long time.

Anyway - at this point I won't even be satisfied with a video...I want to see the MUSICAL!

Re-read my first post: "I found this Rolex I believed belonged to my x-father-in-law. It looks old. black face srounded by blue, date (actual day, Saturday the 9th and date), name on face is Clinton from what I can see. It is a rolex, I took it to a dealer. they said it might be so old and a collectible. it has a world time bezel around the large chrystal.

Oh and I will go wake my husband up to help me here, NOT. He is discusted already.

I am so so so sorry I found this site, my huge mistake.
no,no,no...here is what u said, and I quote..."it's a rolex, i took it to a dealer" you did not say only the band was Rolex in your very first post. Yes I was wrong about the dial part , but you definitely did say "it's a Rolex, I took it to a dealer" maybe you should go back and re read.

SSP - I have a Flip and you can definitely pull a frame out very easily with the inlcuded Flip software - they are not too large too load. What a waste. Hope nobody is scammed on this - pawn shop or not.

Mods, please lock this thread and delete the OP before they scam someone here...

It's serving no real purpose except getting members to bash the OP and for the OP to bash the members and lie some more. It's worthless and futile.

"It is a rolex, I took it to a dealer. they said it might be so old and a collectible."
i dont understand what all the fuss is about Michelle
sell it to the dealer you took it to
whatever monies they give you just run as fast as you can before these dealers realise that after years in the business they just bought a hunkadajunka

Wow Michelle, what a great picture of the back! This clears up everything.

Let me tell you what you got:

A Clinton watch worth $1 with a Rolex bracelet. Looks like a 78360 bracelet. Now think, who would put this "band" on a cheapo watch? Rolex? NO. Is the bracelet genuine Rolex? Most likely not. But if the Bracelet is a real Rolex bracelet the watch itself is still , but don't dispose of the bracelet, you could get some $$$ for it, if it is a real Rolex bracelet. If it's fake, throw it in the bin with the watch.

But this you can take to the bank:
Your watch is not a Rolex! Even if the bracelet is an original Rolex bracelet, it doesn't make your watch a Rolex.

If you indeed took that watch to an AD to get it verified, and them telling you it might be old and collectible, they are; a: total idiots and should not sell Rolex or anything else for that matter, b; messing with you.

Peace.

Michelle, your Bracelet is with 99,99% odds a fake bracelet. I looked at the pic again, and the Rolex crown is not in the right position, and looks too big, and applied. It's supposed to be stamped into the clasp. Links looks like oyster links, but the end pieces looks not as the originals do. BIN IT!
