"Long E" Rolex 5513
The issue of the "Long E" has recently been discussed here in a couple of threads.
Here is another example, this time on a 5513. Interestingly, also from Hong Kong. The dial being a gloss/WG version is clearly wrong for a watch with this serial number but is claimed as being original, so the listing should be amended/taken down just because of that. BUT I am more interested in the issue of the case markings and would appreciate comments on this. seller time_holder ( 1061) Vintage Rolex Submariner 5513 Gloss dial Acrylic crystal diver watch and Rolex service papers. Case: Stainless Steel 40mm case without crown wide by 47 mm long. Model no. : 5513 Serial no. :61514XX. Original Acrylic crystal. The inside of the back of the case is signed Montres Rolex SA Geneva Switzerland Patented Stainless Steel 5513. Movement: Original Rolex Calibre 1520 movement with hack second. It running and functioning properly. Dial: Rare 100% Original Rolex Submariner 5513 Gloss Dial, signed SWISS T<25, With a little bit and lighty yellow colour luminous marker. Bezel: Genuine Rolex Submariner rotating bezel. Bracelet: Rolex Submariner 93150 solid stainless steel 11 links diver bracelet with double lock clasp. End pieces is 20mm ref. 501B. This watch came back from Hong Kong Rolex Sevice Centre at Jul 2009. http://cgi.ebay.com/Rolex-Submariner...#ht_6323wt_958 |

Err buddy Michael...this one looks earlier for Orchi to tell...
The 5513 watch case has been tampered with... (FAKEEE in Orchi's book) 1. Wrong case stamping fonts... 2. Lug holes positions wrong... which is why a different(501B) Endlinks are used instead... 3. Crown Guards are wrong... NOT original Rolex... |

How can one report this listing? The seller makes no claim that the watch is 100% Rolex and the description of the case avoids the same claim. Case: Stainless Steel 40mm case without crown wide by 47 mm long.
Without the word Rolex or the Rolex logo on the case there is no trademark violation. Inquiring minds and all that.

The case has an illegal serial number and if the seller says Rolex it must be 100% Rolex unless stated differentially.
