Red Sub

Lovely, dial is superb.

Mine is not quite in the same condition although the markers have gone really creamy

I also opted for a solid link bracelet as i find it sits better on the wrist than the 9315 which i have locked away

Very nice!

I have been without mine since December (it's with Bob Ridley) and looking forward to getting it back after looking at these great examples!

great loooking red.

but just so you know the box and booklet are from a 90's sub and i'd be interested to know about the garantie cert, is it punched or written numbers, its just that its a garantie only paper rather than a chronometer paper as to be expected with a chronometer rated watch - thats style is usually seen with for example 5513, or maybe 6263/5 etc?

A few simple reasons:

1) It's my first vintage, and nothing much happened during the first month because Bob had to walk me through the decisions and steps while teaching me about his craft.

2) Since I just bought the watch, Bob is doing a significant amount of work to get the timepiece in really good condition.

3) He is using a 3rd party for one of the services being rendered and there is time and scheduling associated with that.

4) I'm not impatient, and I told him to take his time.

Beautiful Red - here's mine! It's on the original 9315 with 380 endlinks. From what I have been told, 280 endlinks are also correct.

Newsboy,
Did Rolex touchup the patina on the face when you sent it back? It looks great.

Awesome pair of Subs.

The glass on the Red Sub is simply amazing to look at from that angle.

Mabuhay!

These subs are a thing of beauty..
I'm truly amazed to see the perfect condition they are.

After seeing these watches, i can't wait to set my 1680 former RED to it's previous "redness".
The dial was changed in the 80's from meters first RED to a regular white..

In the process of making it right again.
and then i hope i will post mine next to these beauties.
