GMT Master II -- SEL???

Just curious. Does anyone know if the "old style" (i.e. 16710) SS GMT II has been updated with solid end links like its Sub counterpart? If not, I'm guessing this will be an update on the new SS GMT II, along with the supercase, maxidial, etc.

The "old style" GMT-II has had SELs for a number of years now. My Y series has them.

Maybe I'm asking the wrong question here. I guess what I really want to know is about the oyster bracelet on the GMT. Are the SS bracelet links solid, or are they hollow? Not that it really makes that much of a difference, I guess.

The bracelet of the GMT-II is known as the OYSTERLOCK bracelet and has HOLLOW centre links. This same bracelet also comes fitted on the Exp-II and the SS/Pt.YM.

However, on the SS/Pt.YM, the centre links are SOLID and POLISHED.

JJ's right. And even though the bracelet has hollow center links it also has solid end links starting with the A series [not sure what year that was].

No, I meant the current SS GMT II (as opposed to the "soon to be released" GMT II). Sorry for the confusion.
