Allow me to introduce myself
I guess i kinda jumped into the forums withour formally introducing myself to all of you. My name is Dan and I am from Toronto. I have been collecting antiques for 18 years now and 3 years ago was introduced to watches. I was so excited about starting to collect watches because I would finally have a collection I could wear. My first watch was an Omega .321, and it went crazt from there. Once I got around 13 watches I started feeling bad for the watches that weren't getting enough 'wrist time'. So I consolodated all my watched and traded up for an explorer II orange hand. My wife really liked it, so I got her a 1973 5513 - love it on her. As everyone her know the sickness spread and now I have :
5513 from 1973 1680 redline sub 1655 double red 1675 from 1965 explorer II orange hand Universal Tri-compax Graham chronofighter overlord Heuer Autavia and i have designs now on a vintage Daytona It's great to be a part of this forum -- it's kinda like AA Hello my name is Dan and I am a watch addict |

Welcome to TRF, Dan. Glad you finally introduced yourself.
I'm sorry to hear about your illness - but it's one that most of us here share. And as you are no doubt finding out, it's an incurable and chronic disease. So just learn to live with it and have fun here.

thanks guys
thanks for the warm welcome guys ...
expensive is right, but man do i love a vintage Rolex ... I had my AD come by this morning with a Paul Newman daytona and I started thinking what the hell I could sell, and it got totally out of control - so I stopped and put a hold on his 6239 Daytona red lettering. |

it was just one of those things
I saw it and wasn't really in the market for it, but once it was on my wrist (I should know by now not to do that) I couldn't let it go
