Incoming vintage Chocolate dial Hamilton Chrono

I picked up this one in the afternoon. It's a chocolate dial hamilton chronograph with a Manual Winding Valjoux 7733 17 Jewel movement.

I put my own leather strap on it. I have always wanted a chocolate dial Rolex, but found this one for pennies in comparison to Rolex. Yes, I still want a chocolate 1680 sub, but this will fill the void for now...

Congrats. The watch looks great. At $125, a bargain as well.

I returned this one, very cool. vintage manual wind watch, but the winding didn't feel correct: the crown stem was too short or the bezel was too wide, but I couldn't comfortably wind this old watch.

Too bad, it had a great chocolate dial....

That's a very nice watch Alan! Congratulations!

EDIT: Didn't realize this was a thread from September, my apologies for being late to the party!

Sorry you had to return it.

Good luck with your 1680 hunt.

I took the time to edit my post because I didn't realize it was an old bumped thread, yet I didn't even realize that the OP didn't even have the watch anymore!

No problem Carl, my friend has the watch. I am going to go try it on again this weekend. Perhaps if he puts in the correct size crown I will make him an offer...
