Here's some of mine. Sorry for the rubbish iPhone pics.
Edit: thought I had posted more pics (close ups) not sure what happened. Sorry for the massive pic of boxes. I realise this isn't a "show me your shoe boxes" thread!

These arrived just today. These are different than any other boot I have to this point. These are the Edward Green Galways in Dark Oak and Walnut.
It's not easy to see in these pictures but they are difinitely slimmer and smaller than any other boot I currently own. These are on the 82 Last which happens to fit my feet like a glove. I would say they are kind of like a PP SS Nautilus in a way. These are a more elegant country boot.

Thank you sir.
I thought it was about time, I got me some fairly nice Spectators. Thank you sir. I'm taking a small detour from English shoes and going with a pair of Italian Cordovan Boots next. I've been wanting something in a lighter shade of Cordovan for awhile, and I think these fit the bill pretty well. Their from the Rider Boot Company.

J Gilbert. Leffot has Rider boots, but the ones they have just don't interest me. However it appears that J Gilbert has some of their older models. From speaking with the person at J Gilbert, Rider hasn't produced this one for awhile. But this may just be because they haven't been able to get a hold of anymore Walnut Cordovan.

Some wonderful shoes you guys have, i'll post a photo soon. I have 3 pairs of Churches ( city line, London & 2 pairs of flexi sole, one semi brogue). i found them to have the best fit for me as i need a wide fit. Their grading is something like, £250-300 outside EU non barbed wire protected (South America), £300-400 EU non barbed wired protected. £400-600 EU barbed wired protected. £600 + Swiss Cows! Barbed wired protected. £850 + Special leathers, Crocodile (£2.85k) etc.

The top pair are city line, London, ebony. The other two pairs are flexi sole Burstock, black. Ironic that i picked the London style! From a choice of 3 in cluding Paris & Hong Kong! I am London based!:) My next purchases will be the same flexi sole, but style Bampton (with brass buckle) in colour Burgundy. Puffy, dddrees & guys, do you think on the left pair that to stop the leather buckling i need to use the shoe tree? I just started to notice how buckled they are becoming. |

The way I see it, all of you shoe divas are costing me money. Now I'm going to have to Google some of these and maybe make a purchase. You have some nice shoes, gents.

You may want to use some leather conditioner, this may help as well. You'll know how much it has helped once you take them off of the shoe trees of course. Thanks for the link.

I was looking at a similar colour scheme (either walnut or dark brown) but from AE but was hesitant as its quite a different type of shoes in terms of colour scheme add to the fact that I don't own a pair of shoes since I only fancy boots Dan what do you wear with it? Would you mind posting puics of you wearing it showing the pants as well? BTW which colour (dark brown with white/walnut with white) from AE would you choose? |

http://www.bensilver.com/The-Hampton...ator,4042.html I also recently got a pair of Suede and Calf Carmina's from skoaktiebolaget. http://www.skoaktiebolaget.se/news/c...-922-spectator Which may not fit everybody's idea of what a Spectator is. I have yet to wear either pair, as the weather really has not been that cooperative. I also picked up a pair of BB AE Linen and Calf Seconds for a real good price, but I don't like these nearly as much as the other two. If I were to choose between the two you mentioned, I would go with walnut and white.
