Rolex service includes: Complete disassembly, cleaning and overhauling, and reassembly of movement, Lubrication of movement, Timing and adjustment of movement to perfect manufacturing standards. Replacement of all gaskets and O/Rs. Water resistance test, Cleaning, polishing of case, and bracelet. One year warranty on all repair service, any parts replaced will be extra,if acrylic crystal, thats replaced as part of service.Bexley Heath is the main Rolex service centre, all watches go there, unless local AD are authorised to service. They can take around 4 -10 weeks cost around £180 plus any parts, they normally ring you if any parts need replacing with the cost.
And I have already posted a link for you with pictures in your other post about the Rolex DJ service.

Padi has covered that just about beautifully. Might I add that the crown and stem are also replaced. There is a very small waterseal gasket within the confines of the crown. It is this gasket which comes in contact with the upper rim of the stem when you screw down the crown to provide a 100% hermetic seal.
