It is just a material possession. Expensive, you bet? But as long as it does not cause suffering or death, why not enjoy it? You earned it.

don't see any reason not to, I wear as daily either 5712-1A or Daytona 116515, even if I need to take the metro in Paris which is not the safest city in the world for muggings, but I don't take the metro often, just if I need to get to the center in rush hour, and for swimming and other "dangerous" activities, I put my sub LV, so wear that thing...

Put it on your home owners insurance and have no worries and wear it everyday with joy. I wear my 5960p more than any other watch I own. I love it. Congrats and enjoy

Any reason this can't be a daily wear??

Nope! I think getting a black strap to have options to match your wardrobe may be a good play too.

Based on the feedback received I am happy to report that the 5960P has been on my wrist every day! It really does make an excellent daily wear....comfortable, versatile for dress or casual, and very useful complications. The only problem is that I'm now struggling to find reasons to wear the other watches in my collection!

The 5164 or the Sub should be the logical daily wears, but I just live the 5960 so much, I haven't been happy with anything else on my wrist.

And yes, I do have a couple of other straps on order. A slate gray leather as well as one in black. I can't wait for them to come in!!! I will be sure to post pics once they do!

I just picked up a 5960 as well and like yourself I absolutely love how it wears on the wrist and I already put my other watches in the bank in anticipation this will get the bulk of wrist time for the next while

Looking forward to seeing the new straps on your 5960!

I don't understand the point of buying a watch to keep it in a safe. Wear it and enjoy it!

( only exception would be a sky moon or supercomplication :) )
