How long exactly is five minutes?

5 Mins. is enough time to finish my glass of wine and read/reply to a few posts on TRF!

I don't even start until she has her first dress on. Then she usually might change to another one. When all the hair/ makeup, and final dress is on, then I start getting ready.

Late for the wife leaving the house is one thing. Late for a business meeting is another. The first is life and the latter is generally not acceptable to me.

Wives have a hacking movement when it comes to leaving on time and the "5 minutes". But they also have vitamin V so we deal with it.

I'm glad I'm not the only one dealing with a constantly late wife and kids! I've tried to get my wife to wear a watch - a Rolex or any watch - but she has no interest.

Attitude like that makes you a lifetime renter.

Possible IBS.

Fixed it for you. Ownership does have its benefits.

Fortunately, my wife doesn't do this. Her routine is just 1) brush hair and 2) change clothes

But you'll still be running through your rolodex looking for your rent-a-date long after Ed and the missus have reached the party.

I wish I had enough of them to fill a rolodex

But anyway, I prefer to call it borrowing....they come out with me, have a great time then go back home to their lap dogs, sorry, husbands who've been dutifully waiting for them for the last six hours

Then you wake up on the couch, alone, in your pee stained boxers, and realize you were only dreaming. Sigh... the life of a renter.

If I say 5 min and my wife vanishes outside to smoke.... all I do is get in the car and start backing out.... she always shows up tee hee hee.
