$7500 credit towards a house??
been thinking to buy my own house (townhouse) and saw an ad that says Congress authorized a $7500 credit towards first time home buyers. It is from April 2008 until April 2009 (don't have the ad with me right now).
has anyone taken advantage of this? Seems like a good deal, at least to counterbalance the property tax for the first year. |

This is not a credit it is actualy a rebate which you will pay back over 15 years. In actuality it is a no intrest goverment loan. Good deal something they are doing to try to help boost the market. I. Know because my wife and me recently bought. You will receive check if you decide to take it with regular rebate.
