Just bought an SD43 and I can easily say for me it is just as comfortable as my SD 116600. Love it!

The complete watch is 184g so compared with some dive watches on the market that are well over 200g quite lite weight.

i wouldn't argue with Peter who is a very knowledgeable fella and has always provided some amazing data but there is a comparison here from a fellow member: https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=535742

According to that the weight is 195 for 126600 vs 217 for the DSSD vs 160 for the 116610LV. The scales may not be entirely accurate but you get the idea of the differences (in weight & percentages) over the other divers from Rolex.

It is less comfortable than a Sub but much more comfortable than a DSSD on the wrist. Overall it is a great watch and i am enjoying it thoroughly thus far. If your wrist is 7 inches or over then you should be OK although some with smaller wrists may say the same i.e. that they have no issues (e.g. guys with flatter wrists). Try it on before you buy and that way you will fully make a proper/informed choice.

Some guys have also removed the extension but i know not how much weight it takes off.

I have owned the SD43 for several months now and find it very comfortable to wear. No issue with the weight or size. I removed the divers extension as it is not needed for me as the Glide Lock clasp is present. For me it is as comfortable or more than a Submariner.

I've owned one since early May and it's about as comfortable as any other piece of steel strapped to my wrist

Makes sense as I truly can't feel a difference between my 16600 and SD43. Love this watch, you won't be disappointed.

For its size, a very well balanced and comfortable watch.
