brand new 22 year old

For Christmas I had my wifes 22 yo datejust redone. I bought it for her 22 years ago when we had very little money. She wore it every day and it made 3 trips to Dallas. Finally 2 years ago the band was shot and it quit running. So we put it in the safe and forgot about it.
This summer I found it and sent it off for a new face, band and some diamonds around the bezel as well as a serious overhaul.
Needless to say she was very happy to have her old favorite back, looking better than new. On a cost per day basis it has been a cheap watch, but it is still rock solid..
All the best, Merry Christmas to all
Andy

Idel S is correct- it would not have made it back with that aftermarket Bezel. It's 3 trips were in standard form. That is from Alan Marcus. After 22 years it needed something special.
All the best,
Andy

Very elegant , I however always find it a waste to put a good color diamond in yellow gold setting .

Beautiful. And anything that makes the wife happy makes us happy, right?

Looks nice! I'm sure it has a lot of sentimental value for you both. It's great you had it refurbished; that's a thoughtful gift, even the second time around.
