1171 bracelet for a Speedmaster?

Wearing my -71, 861 Speedmaster on leather and/or a noname bracelet. Like it, but thinking of buying a "new" 1171 bracelet, but before getting one I would like someones opinion about it.

Anyone with experience of a 1171?

My Speedypro sits on a 1171/1 bracelet. It was very good value for money and is extremely comfortable.

I like the look, comfort, and price of the 1171. All in all, a great bracelet for the Speedy Pro.

Here's one on my vintage 105.012:

Yes, it rattles a bit but no more than a non-SEL Rolex bracelet.

Some are, some aren't.

Always check the seller out.

The modern 1171 isn't as good as the original bracelet (links are held by cotter / split pins not screws) but as has been mentioned they are very comfortable and do suit the Speedy. The clasp isnt great and if you use anything other than the last two adjustment holes it has a habit of coming undone. As for sources if you Google Frei & Borel you will find a trusted supplier.

They have not been able to source any of these for some time, but I see they are again available. Get them while they are hot!
