Anybody on here a pen turner? I make custom pens in my free time, just wondering if anyone has the same hobby.

I don't but I have seen some custom turned pens that are amazing. Do you have any photos of the pens or your equipment. I would be interested to know the process.

here are a couple pics of two pens i recently made. These crappy pics dont capture the beauty.
Both hand made by me. All i use is a small bench top metal lathe, and a couple of specialized jigs. |

ive sold several of them, I keep some for myself too.
The nibs and other pen parts are available all over the internet. Just google "pen kits" It is alot of fun, and you can make all different styles of pens. If your really interested, Ill be glad to help you get started. |

Yes I make Pens from Tasmanian Native timbers, I sell them as a side hobby to souvenir shops around the state, I also make furniture (for myself). I love woodwork
