There's Nothing Like The Fluted Bezel! Lots-o-Pics!
I can't describe how happy I am I went with the fluted bezel - it adds another layer to watch that really brings it all together!
It, along with my dial, look different in every light and it's just awesome! Here's a bunch of pictures I just took in some nice sun light - anybody else have some great fluted bezel shots? (*cough couch* Bill AKA Speed lol) Jump in!

Great shots, Brandon! I have to agree about the fluted bezel! I just love it myself and think it adds so much class to my DJ (and yours!)!!!

Great shots Brandon and congrats on the new watch. I agree with you. The fluted bezel on the DJ makes it the classic Rolex. I've never understood the smooth bezel DJ's (just not my cup of tea). IMHO of course.

Then when the DJ II was released it really opened me up to this combo and I'm glad I gave it a shot :) Quote:

You will not have the problem with the DJII. Its a nice sized watch. It works out though because the GMT is for everyday and the TT DJ for dressy occasions |

Brandon....how do you like the polished lugs?
I have an older DJ and the lugs are brushed unlike the newer DJ's. I'm not sure which I like better. |

Couldn't agree with you more Brandon! I got one (my first ever Rolex) a week ago, but with a white dial and jubilee bracelet. I really like the fluted bezel. I always associated it with Rolex. I wish i had a better camera to post some pix! Enjoy your DJ.

I've always loved the fluted bezel, to me it's the classic Rolex look. That's why I hopped on a DJII the second I saw one. The standard DJs are too small for me, so I was really happy to see the DJIIs. I love the way they reflect sunlight too!

I completely agree, Brandon. I was in the same boat as Max. I always wanted my first Rolex to be a DJ for that classic Rolex look, but I was always turned off by the size. When I saw the DJIIs, I thought that it delivered the complete package (that I was looking for at least). And the size of the fluted bezel is amazing - I really don't think it's overkill - it would have made the watch look odd if it was any smaller. Although romans are truly my favorite for the DJs.

I think the DateJust or some similar variant will probably be my next Rolex. I love the GMT, because it's a great every day sports watch. But, in terms of sheer elegance, you just can't beat the look of the DJ (IMHO, of course).
Awesome pics. Thanks for sharing. Brent |

I have to agree with you, Great Pics.
My Pic isn't as good, but at least I have the real thing to look at when I need to be reminded.

Your DJ is quite a looker, Brandon!
I don't think I've ever seen one like it. Unique Arabic dial, fluted bezel, and oyster bracelet!
