WOW !!!! Nice !! It justifies being a "fan" off. It's my wallet that doesn't.

I'm not sure what the Force indicator is referring to.

From Oris website the functions are stated as follows.

Functions: Centre hands for hours, minutes and seconds, date window, date corrector, power-reserve display, fine timing device and stop-second.

I handled the watch last weekend. It was very lightweight because of the titanium case and rubber strap. Slightly smaller (49mm vs 51mm) than the Prodiver Chronograph model released last year.

I've seen it several times since it was announced at Basel and can't seem to figure out the "force" indicator, either...

I'm a fan, but I think it's too big... I have the 47mm small seconds/date and that's as big as I'll wear, and only when I'm in the right mood. The rounder TT1 case has a smaller bezel, so I think this one would seem much larger. I think the huge watch fad has pretty well run it's course.

If they made it in a 44mm size, I'd be all over it.

Here is the reply from Oris regarding the power reserve and force indicator. Guess both indicators work in tandem.

The Power Reserve in Col Moschin has 2 indicators.

The colour Green, White and Red means fully charge, half charge and empty respectively, and that does not give full details of the Power Reserve.

The Force Indicator function acts like the Petrol tank meter in the car, it gives you information like, whether the power left with ¾ or ½ filled.

Finally got hold of my Oris Col Moschin watch. very nice black satin finish on the case. very light case as it is titanium and the engraving on the back cover is well done. I will be swapping a custom made black kevlar dive strap for the stealth look.

Here is the Oris family pic.

congrats Lee on a very very beautiful and impressive watch...how does the rotation security system work?..you have used it on the prodiver chrono oo, so does this thin rubber stri around the edge of the bezel really do something? ;) j/k...just wanna how it works, how well it handles etc

it works like a lock ring. very easy to operate. you lift up the outer ring to unlock the bezel and allow the bezel to turn anti-clockwise to set the mark. when that is done you depress the ring to lock the bezel in position. the bezel will not move once it is locked down.

Had my Oris Col Moschin for a week now. The watch feels very light for such a big watch, partly due to the use of titanium for the case and snug fitting rubber strap. The deployant buckle is easily adjustable to fit a range of wrist sizes, no cutting of the rubber strap is required. The titanium case comes with a satin finish and the bezel locking mechanism ensure the bezel is firmly locked in place. The rear case have a beautiful emblem of the Col Moschin Regiment, a very nice touch indeed. The dial comes with a power reserve indicator cum force indicator which easily shows the power reserve on the watch. When worn daily the power reserve is kept to the maximum charge.

Am having fun with the Oris Col Moschin watch. Big watch but you dont feel the weight. Must say the Power Reserve indicator does come in very handy to keep the watch fully charged. When I wear the watch daily, the indicator shows green (fully charged).

Hi Lee

Thanks for the review and pics. After reading your review (and a bit of marketing I saw from Oris), I liked it so much I decided to get one myself. I love the titanium case and overall stealth look. The red, white and green power reserve indicator is a cool function too. Here is mine:

lol ...its already an achievement on your part that you have gathered so many lovely pieces without your other half realising it by now :) doesnt she notice when you wear them changing one every day?...I have observed most ladies barely notice a changed watch if both have straps or both have bracelets or something similar overall in looks I mean

James has started a thread about collections http://www.rolexforums.com/showthrea...52#post2276652 where he has shared his own amazing collection too...he also recently acquired the Col Moschin LE...may be you can try to post your's there too or start your own thread..however it suits you but it would be a treat I am sure for all of us :)

it is not good to let your other half know what you buy coz she will be asking for something of similar value (comes in the shape of a small transparent stone).

i only wear a few pieces and the rest are kept in storage. so many pieces are practically brand new and unworn. yes i try to increase the confusion factor of the watches by changing straps ever so often.

have posted some past pics of my dive watches.
