IWC. Impressions anyone?
Just wondering what IWC owners think about their watches. Contemplating a purchase....

They're great, but somehow I feel their designs are not much too my liking.

almost pulled the trigger twice on an IWC Portuguese Automatic (white dial with blue hands) and an IWC ingenieur Plastiki (at seperate times). my brother in law fell in love with a IWC Portuguese Automatic white dial with gold hands and markers. should be getting one when he retruns to London later this year |

I've purchased a new Portuguese Chronograph and an Aquatimer 2000 in the past 4 months and I'm considering a Spitfire Chronograph as my next purchase. Obviously, I'm impressed with their styling, quality and value.

Love em. I have two and they are great. I just don't care for their in house service. I had 2 watches go in (both Panerai but all are their brands are serviced in Dallas) otherwise GREAT!

I fell in Luv with Mine when I saw it. I was looking for something on a strap and perfurably in Rose Gold. I chose this over a Panerai because I personally don't like the watches with the bigger dials. The dial on my watch is only 42 mm so it isn't that big. Its a IWC Pilot Chronograph and its in Rose Gold.

Had 2 Aquatimers & the Pilot Chrono
Very nice - The 3717 felt a little fragile & the chrono pushers a bit vulnerable, but I have no negatives to report. Good overall quality & excellent timekeeping from the 7750 power watches especially. |

iwc portuguese yacht club chronograph is my current lust object. I have never owned one, but tried one on this week and was sold. It felt substantial.

I'm a fan of their "Mark" and "Spitfire" series, but of the ones of purchased, they never seem to stay in my collection very long. They always seem to get traded or sold to fund another purchase! I'm not sure what that says, but it must mean something (at least about what I think of the brand).

If it was 42mm I'd be in love with it. Right now I don't know how I feel about it, the design is amazing but I haven't handled one in person yet, so I don't know how the size feels.

Have a MK XV which I wear on a bund that will probably always have a place in the collection. The TopGun double chrono is the most interesting out of the current options which I have tried on a couple of times and is on my want list...

Just picked up a new vintage collection aquatimer, my first IWC, and I'm impressed with the quality and accuracy. Seems to be accurate to one second a day and very consistent. The in house Pellaton winding mvt. is very interesting and appealing. I'm absolutely pleased so far.
