Liquid Metal ...Sold out?!?

This is what my AD tells me...

He was never able to get one in stock, and now tells me that they are sold out and he won't be getting one.

When you hear that something is a limited edition, it's usually a sales ploy..I've seen any shortage of 'limited editions' before.

I guess I should have jumped on it when I had the chance.

I tried it on at the Omega Boutique in NYC last week....it is absolutely stunning!

Better than any photo can possibly show....heads and shoulders above the sub-c

Only reason I didn't jump was because I was sure that my AD would beat the price...

I purchased 2 PO LM from my AD a few weeks ago. Yesterday he told me that Omega is out of stock. All 1948 have been allocated to Omega boutiques and selected ADs. They may still be in boutiques and AD but he could no longer get any from Omega. He sold 7 in total.

As a matter of fact, all Planet Oceans currently in the Omega warehouse in Secaucus have been allocated to the Boutiques for Christmas sale.

My dealer has been buying up all he can find from other ADs.

alright - now it is all allocated and sold out, the only options are private sellers and grey dealers.

lets see how well the price will keep for this Omega limited edition. hope it will break their previous records...

FWIW, I was in Beverly Hills, CA last week and saw one at Tourbillion on Rodeo Drive. The dealer said he only had one in stock and that many stores had run out. Good luck in your quest.

There's a newly opened Omega boutique on Michigan Avenue up by The Hancock building; they had a couple on display when the opened 2 weeks ago (tourist not resident).

When I say sold out - it means that whatever is out there is all you've got.

So if you get any discount...jump on it!

If you don't get a discount (and I would now not expect one) ...Jump on it!

The MSRP was only 5700USD

that's a bargain anyway when you compare it to its class competitors...

Agreed... Robin sons in Manchester England have had one in the window for two weeks...... They are known to be firm On price, but when it's £1200 more than the non ceramic next to it i think they will find it hard to shift

Nope, there are 1 or 2 at my local AD's, not much interest in those IHMO.

Well, I know we've ordered one, but seen or heard nothing about it yet. It's a shame, it's one of the Limited Edition Omegas that are really doing something interesting and exciting, yet at the same time very saleable. I hope it isn't the case that they're already all gone!

Just spotted one in the window of Watches of Switzerland, Glasgow. Not overly impressed by it and certainly not worth the extra £1200 over the normal PO. Give me a big size PO anyday.
