DD, AP or PP???

Help me decide here between my Platty DD, an AP ROO Navy, and a PP Nautilus.
The DD is mine, but I have been contemplating selling/trading it and getting one of the othe other two.
I know they are 3 totally different watches, but wondering your opinions on the 3 watches. Looking for duribility, as I will prolly wear on a daily basis, and quality of the watch and movement overall.
Thanks...

My vote goes to :
1. AP 2. Rolex 3. PP ( Based on the look).

Unless its PP : 5980 or 5726A thats the best looking PP to me.

I'd go for the Patek Nautilus. The DD is a bit too bling for every day wear in my opinion. the AP is nice but pretty bulky - great super casual but can be a bit over the top.

The patek is a wonderfully constructed beauty and is incredibly comfortable. You have left out the Royal Oak - it's worth a look and it's less expensive than the Nautilus.

Rolex is my favorite brand...

But of the 3 mentioned, I'd haveto go for the AP Navy. Love it!

AP for dressing up and down! The PP is more on the elegant side.

If you would give me one of them and I was NOT allowed to sell it, I would have taken the Day Date. :)

Nautulus would be my first choice and after that the AP Navy, the DD do not do anything for me personally with the Bling on...

Nautulus - Low key elegance
AP Nany - Casual look
Blinged DD - Over the top, hip hop star...

+1; go with a timeless Genta design, Nautilus or regular RO.

PP for sure! I'm personally not a fan of the diamond lugs on the DD. The AP is a great piece, but may not be best suited for more formal occasions. The PP is perfect for both casual and formal occasions.....plus maintains resale better than the other two models. Just my $0.02.

I'd be afraid to wear that PP everyday... $25k on my wrist while walking around?!

If you have another watch that can be "dressed up" then go for the AP as your daily.

Keep the Rolex, it's so much better looking than the AP and Patek.

All my watches are insured so I don't worry about how much what I wear costs. Otherwise running around town with a Lange Datograph would be hair raising. Ultimately it's not about the cost but what we like.

Hmm...

It doesn't get easier than this...the PP by a billion miles.
IMO that particular AP would be a poor choice considering the ridicules sunken in date display caused by a modular chronograph movement AP uses in its ROO models , no excuse not to have a better intergrated type chronograph movement at it's price point.
Best
Drew

BTW- Rumor has it that AP is coming up with a in-house chronograph movement soon. I would wait if you insist on an AP ROO

I'd go with the Nautilus as well: it looks quite simple and has a Patek movement (I believe you can't go wrong with that). The Day-Date looks great but the diamonds on the lugs aren't my cup of tea. As for the AP, I think it looks good but it's too sporty and too much of a chunk; I'd rather have it as a second watch.

For a younger taste AP. For the mature taste PP. Can't get the answer for the DD.

Never liked the style of AP or PP watches however nice they are,so it would be the Rolex for me every time.

I would choose the Nautilus between the three, you have to see it in person to really appreciate it. The AP ROO line is way too gimmicky but the classic AP RO 15300 should be considered, it hasn't changed much in the last 40 years and is an iconic watch. I leave the diamonds for the ladies.
