Welcome to the forum!
Not too familiar with UK AD's/Grey Dealers as I'm stateside, but if you're looking for a Pepsi GMT I'd get your hands on one as soon as possible. Rolex is no longer producing them so you'll soon be unable to purchase them BNIB from an AD...preowned will be the only way you can get one. You should have no trouble finding Sub Dates...they're probably the most popular sports Rolex and, in my opinion, the quintessencial Rolex!

The GMT II "Pepsi" and Sub Date are TRUE classics! You have a mighty fine taste in watches! Whichever you decide to get, or both, you get the BEST! In the UK, I would suggest you buy from David Duggan in London (Burlington Arcade). He IS a bid more expensive than some other dealers, but has a spotless reputation. However, avoid "Second Time Round" in the Gray's Antique Centre near Bond St. Tube. I have heard TOO many stories about them treating customers badly and being outright dishonest For a VERY good UK Rolex website, I would suggest: http://www.watchfinder.co.uk/ Good luck Be sure to post pics of whatever Rolex you get

Hi Steve/Bo,
I've bought a ss sub date from watchfinder.co.uk. while their prices are good (grey market) I would not recommend them on the customer service front. I had a minor issue with the transaction and they got very aggressive and rude. its a good job you get the original supplier stamped on the certificate, so you can go there if anything goes wrong. tbh i'm not sure i'd use them again; great at the sales end, lost it completely on the custome service side. just my opinion..... |
