The forum comes to a halt..??

Everyday around this time (give or take 30 minutes) the forum comes to a halt for 1-3 minutes.

Inquiring minds wants to know?

Probably systems backup, it does tend to slow systems down. Its needed to keep the forum alive if any disaster occurs.

Probably scheduled daily for the same time.

We do the same at work. The issue with been online 24*7, very hard not to impact the users unless lots of money is spent on hardware and software solutions.

Good to know! I didnt understand what had happened! For a second panic went thru my mind was I banned and can't log in? Should I have not contacted a fomer member about a watch he was selling on EBay? did the owners of the Forum decided to quit? Honestly I'm a bit addicted to it, it has become part of my daily. And I like it!

Yes its around 12.30pm-1.00pm UK time I get a few problems too.
