FS: Jaeger LeCoultre JLC Master Date
Friends,
I'm selling my brilliant Jaeger LeCoultre JLC Master Date (Ref. 140.8.872) in stainless steel case with stainless steel deployant, custom new black nubuck strap, box and papers from 1994. In my opinion the condition is very good for a watch of this period with barely noticeable scratches on the bezel and case. Its a beautiful and hard-to-come-by watch that features the Master logo in 18kt gold on the case-back held in place with 4 screws, concave lugs, date corrector buttons on the case and a sapphire crystal. Silver with applied white gold dart indexes and Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds dial, apertures for the days of the week and the months, outer graduation for the date. Luminous steel dauphine hands, red crescent indicator for the date. Automatic Calibre 891/447 movement (270 parts), 40-hour power reserve, rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, 34 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, mono metallic balance adjusted to 5 positions, shock absorber, self compensating flat balance spring, 22K gold rotor segment. Dial, case and movement are signed. Diam. 37 mm. Thickness 11 mm. I'm asking $4750.00 OBRO shipped within the US Thanks for looking. W.G.
