Super Jubilee 63200 "fixed" link removal

Hi there,

I bought my wife a DJ 116234 as a wedding gift but she has very small wrists and I need to get some of the fixed links removed.

I've tried my AD and an independent and they both said it can't be done.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

I don't know for sure, but I suspect it's the same as the Oyster bracelet. Essentially, you pull the link apart (side to side) with a fairly large amount of force. It ruins the removed link, but nothing else is damaged.

Yes, the fixed links will be ruined, but it CAN be done.

Thanks guys, I sent it to Michael Young in HK. I'll post the results when I get it back.

You could have done it yourself with masking tape and two vice grips.
