Beckertime Pre-owned Rolex Experiences?
Anyone had any positive / negative experiences purchasing pre-owned Rolexes from Becktertime? They have pretty good reviews and post a bunch on Chrono24 and ebay. However, they only post file photos of their watches which makes me a bit nervous.
Thanks. |

Thanks for this. I actually saw this threat, which kind of devolved into an analysis of one person's fraud complaint. But was wondering if others had specific positive experiences or other negative experiences.

know what you are buying and make them aware that you aren't some schmuck who is going to be fooled and you should be okay... they list 100% original stuff along with their Mickey Mouse watches... If you are buying through eBay and paying with Paypal you should be okay

Mostly genuine watches on cheap aftermarket bands. Any purchase needs to be for the watch head only.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mens-Rolex-D...-/141428124856 The devil is in the details. There is no picture that shows the clasp... and that would be the one thing that most affects the value of what is being sold. The wording makes heavy use of the word "presidential" when referring to the band. Last edited by LAFlyer; 14 October 2014 at 10:40 AM.. Reason: clarity |

I appreciate the insight guysand will def pay fvery close attention to the listing details. I spoke via email about three separate listings for a DJ 16013 and two DJ 1601s - all TT, champagne face with black roman dial. They are differently priced (one is understandable as it is on an original bracelet) but I was trying to understand why he couldn't provide original photos of each instead of file photos. To understand why these were priced differently.
I know the 1601 is an older model than the 16013, but is there anything else I should know as between these two models? Just hoping maybe one of you guys who reads this has an opinion on that. Thanks! |

Don't Trust Beckertime
Cheap watches with lots of problems and then they want to charge you and arm and a leg to fix a watch that was supposed to be in perfect working order!
